Learning to play the ukulele is an activity suited for nearly all ages. The 4-stringed instrument is perfect for music beginners, or professionals who want to hone their skills. Drew adjusts music lessons to individual tastes, abilities, and styles.

Lessons are available in person or by video conferencing via Zoom. Lessons are 30 minutes up to 1.5 hours, depending on the size of the group.

Children learning to play the ukulele will think they’re playing only for fun, but they are also learning for technique, socialization and self-esteem.

Why children and adults should learn music…

Ukulele students learn:

Drew Laney also sponsors sing-alongs with ukuleles. She has led several sessions with participants who connect through the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Sing-alongs are designed for groups of all sizes and take advantage of the vivacious style of their leader, Drew.
